They are an amazing buisness with the nicest people and the best property. The rooms are fairly priced, but they are quite amazing as well. The beds are some of the comfiest I've every slept in. They are immaculate with everything thought out. There is not one thing that I would add. It has fans, baby gates, kitchen, dressers, small dressers, fans, and much more! Not to mention the property. It is right on the water with the most amazing views. They also have free kayaks, paddle boards, and pedal boats on the beach. These are first come first serve. They also have a box of toys and an area for already provided reclining chairs. The staff is super friendly and completely understanding. I have stayed here many times with my family and it is an absolute great place! I love this hotel and would reccomend this to anyone!

We have been coming to GlenCraft Villas for over 10 years now. My children have such fond memories of Glen Arbor, of the cottages, of Big Glen Lake, the peaceful mornings and walks to town to play in the park, shop or have ice cream.

Our family has stayed at Glen Craft Villas for 18 consecutive years. The location on the north shore of Big Glen Lake couldn't be more perfect - here the spring-fed lake offers a shallow sandy bottom here that is perfect for children and adults alike. There are three beach areas with well-groomed sand, chaise lounges, and tables with umbrellas for shade. It is a short walk from the Villas into Glen Arbor and a quick drive to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation here this year. It's in an awesome location, on beautiful Glen Lake and very close to Glen Arbor. The cabins are great and there's so much to do in the area. I will definitely come back here again.

Quiet, relaxing place with beautiful views.

The resort features several cottage of differing sizes - all are extremely well-maintained, comfortably furnished, and move-in ready. Each has its own picnic table. There is a shuffleboard court, tennis court, basketball hoop, sauna and laundry facilities. Chris, the resort's co-owner and resident manager, is gracious and committed to his guests' comfort and enjoyment.

Our trips wouldn't be complete without a visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes, which is little more then 5 minutes away. It's a fantastic hike, and the views of the lakes are worth the effort. On our way home, we always stop off at the blacksmith shop and general store in Glen Haven (less than 5 minutes away) on our way home, and then walk down to Lake Michigan and troll the beach for shells and stones. There's a lot of history here, as well as natural beauty. We have also taken the Empire Trail hike, and I definitely recommend it. It's not too difficult, and the views of lake Michigan are spectacular. As our kids grew (the older ones are young adults now) we girls would sometimes take a day and go shopping in the nearby town of Suttons Bay. We love the shops and treats, it's really a fun day out. And if you want to get out to a movie or just see a bit more "civilization" then Traverse City isn't too far for a jaunt, and they have everything.

Our family enjoyed the small town experience, the beauty of the lake and family time in at "home" in the cottage. It's what our memories are made of. I can't recommend GlenCraft highly enough -- you won't be disappointed.

The cottage living areas look out onto the beach and lake, and its a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, but the charming town has quite a few establishments to eat out if you wish.

There are many couples and families who stay at Glen Craft Villas year after year as we do, because we all have found the location, facilities and hospitality to be outstanding. It is a place for making memories that last a lifetime.

Big Glen Lake is pure magic -- the most beautiful we've ever encountered. The water is crystal clear to the sandy bottom, and it is the perfect depth for swimming along shore without worrying about little ones. The cottage rental comes with a paddleboat and life jackets (shared by other guests) free to use, and my older kids love touring out to deeper waters. I love that they are still in plain view. And we have had many a campfire around the firepit!

The beds are comfortable as well. There's nothing like waking up to the sound of the water on the shore...one of my kids favorite parts of our vacations. And we love having a fireplace inside! There's always plenty of wood cut and ready for use in the pile outside.
